Fort Loudon

Ft. Loudoun Condominiums (formerly Ft. Loudoun Apartments) is a 20,000sf stone and brick multi story building situated on the high ground just north of Winchester’s pedestrian mall.  It is situated almost entirely within a portion of the original Ft. Loudoun which was designed and built by Gen. George Washington in the mid 1750’s.  The existing building was started in the early 1800’s.  The addition of multiple stories and the north wing continued into the early 20th century.  Most recently, the building consisted of 16 apartments that were built in the late 1950’s.  We are working with the owner/architect of Ft. Loudoun Properties, LLC to convert the building into eight luxury condominiums and two town houses.  Features include an elevator in the three story structure, outdoor living space for most units, lawn areas for ground floor units, common garden areas, outdoor assembly area, on site parking and garage for each unit, panoramic views of old town Winchester and a casual two block stroll to enjoy the arts, dining and entertainment in old town Winchester.  Average unit size is 1600SF with 2 beds, 2 baths, large, open kitchen/dining/living areas, in suite laundry, CAC, gas tankless water heaters.

We recently completed selective demolition in 14 W. Boscawen and restored a very old fireplace to be the focal point.
